China Tech Shifts to Homegrown Chips

Hey, so get this: big tech companies in China are apparently starting to use their own chips instead of Nvidia ones. It seems like their stash of Nvidia processors is getting low, and the US is making it harder to get them. Crazy, right?

Apparently, companies like Alibaba, Tencent, and Baidu are checking out other kinds of chips. This is because they need more and more chips for all the AI stuff they're doing over there. That's what the Financial Times reported, anyway, based on what some people in the tech industry said. Reuters said they couldn't really confirm it right away, though. Idk, it sounds pretty wild if it's true. What do you think this means for tech everywhere?
