China's Big Tech Looking to Homegrown Chips

So, get this. It sounds like the big tech companies over in China are kinda scrambling for computer chips right now. You know, the ones that help with all the cool AI stuff? Yeah, those. Apparently, they're running low on the fancy ones from Nvidia. Bummer, right?
Because of that, and also because the US is making it harder to get those chips, these Chinese companies, like Alibaba, Tencent, and Baidu, are starting to look within China for alternatives. They're testing out chips made right there in China to keep up with all the AI demand they have. It's a whole big thing, or so the Financial Times says anyway. Reuters couldn't confirm it right away, but it does make ya wonder what's gonna happen next, doesn't it?
