China's Tech Giants Switching to Local Chips

Hey, so heard some interesting stuff about what's going on with tech companies in China. Apparently, the big ones, like Alibaba, Tencent, and Baidu, are kinda running low on those fancy chips from Nvidia. You know, the ones that are super important for all that AI magic? Yeah, those.
Because of that whole thing with the US making it harder to get them, these companies are starting to look closer to home. They're testing out chips made right there in China instead. It makes sense, right? They need chips to keep up with everyone wanting more and more AI stuff.
Someone told the Financial Times about this, and it totally got me thinking. What's gonna happen next with all this? It's a pretty big deal for the tech world, if you ask me.
