iPhone Sales in China See a Small Rise in April

So, guess what? It looks like foreign phones, you know like the iPhones and stuff, actually sold a little bit better in China in April. Yeah, I know, even with all the local competition, they saw a tiny bump up.
This is according to some info from a research group over there. They said about 3.52 million foreign phones were shipped in April. That's just a smidge more than the 3.50 million from the year before. It's not a huge jump, maybe, but it's something.
Now, Apple is a pretty big deal in this whole foreign phone market in China. So, how they do really impacts those numbers. This April uptick is interesting, especially since they had a bit of a slow start to the year. Their sales actually went down like 9% in the first three months.
Apple's been facing some tough competition from companies in China, and I guess they've even had to lower prices to keep up. Apparently, some online stores in China were giving discounts on the latest iPhones, like up to 2,530 yuan, which is like $351! Wild, right? It makes you wonder how much those discounts helped.
