iPhones See Slight Sales Increase in China for April

Hey, so check this out. Turns out, folks in China bought a few more foreign-brand phones, like iPhones, in April compared to last year. Yeah, it was just a tiny bump up, going from 3.50 million to 3.52 million. These numbers come from this government-y research place they have over there.
Now, as you probably know, Apple is a huge deal when it comes to foreign phones in China. So, how Apple does really matters for that overall stat. This small increase in April is actually kinda interesting because the beginning of the year wasn't so hot for Apple, you know? Their phone sales were down about 9% in the first few months.
Apple's been having a tough time with competition from the local phone companies. Maybe that's why they've been cutting prices? Like, I saw that some online shopping sites in China were giving big discounts, up to like 2,530 yuan (that's about 351 bucks!) on the newest iPhones just this month. Idk, seems like they're trying everything to keep up. What do you think about all that?
