OpenAI Fights Back Against Elon Musk in Court

Okay, so guess what? OpenAI is totally saying they should be able to keep their lawsuit against Elon Musk going. They're like, his whole idea to throw out their claims just doesn't have any real facts behind it, you know?

In some paperwork they filed recently, OpenAI said their lawsuit, the one that says Elon was doing some sketchy business stuff in California, should be looked at right away, not put on hold. They're saying that huge offer he made earlier this year, the one for like $97.4 billion, was just a fake offer to get everyone talking. They even think the news about the offer got out before their board even saw it. Like, seriously?

Remember how Elon helped start OpenAI back in 2015 but left before it got super big? Well, last year he sued OpenAI and Sam Altman, the CEO. He was upset because OpenAI changed to be a for-profit company. He said they weren't sticking to their original plan, which was to make AI for people, not just to make money.

Then, OpenAI sued Elon back. They said he's been bothering them a lot and they want a judge to tell him to stop doing anything else unfair or against the law to them. Elon had asked the judge to just toss out OpenAI's claims or wait until later. Even though OpenAI recently said they'd keep their non-profit side in control, Elon's lawyer said he's still going ahead with his lawsuit. Wild, right?
