OpenAI vs. Elon Musk: The Lawsuit Continues

So, hey, get this! OpenAI is basically telling the court it wants to keep its lawsuit going against Elon Musk. They're saying his attempt to get rid of their claims totally has "no grounding in facts." Like, seriously?

In some court papers they filed late on Wednesday, OpenAI was like, "Nah, our lawsuit, where we say Musk was doing some shady business stuff in California, should totally be part of the fast-track trial." They don't want it put on hold, you know?

Remember that crazy big offer from a group led by Musk earlier this year? Like, a $97.4 billion offer? OpenAI says that was just a "sham bid" to get the media all hyped up. They even said that offer got leaked to the media before the OpenAI board even saw it! Can you even imagine?

Last year, Musk, who actually helped start OpenAI back in 2015 but left before it became this AI giant, sued OpenAI and its CEO, Sam Altman. He was apparently upset cause they went from being a non-profit to a for-profit company. He accused them of forgetting their original goal, which he says was to build AI for everyone's good, not just for making money.

Then, in April, OpenAI hit back! They sued Musk, saying he's been harassing them and they asked a judge to stop him from doing anything else "unlawful and unfair" to them. Musk, though, asked a judge to just throw out or at least wait on OpenAI's claims.

Even though OpenAI recently scaled back their plan a bit and decided to keep their non-profit side in control, Musk's lawyer said he's still going to go ahead with his lawsuit. It's like, okay, what's really going on here? Idk, it's kinda wild, right? What do you think will happen next?
