OpenAI vs. Elon Musk: The Lawsuit Continues

Okay, so you know how OpenAI and Elon Musk are totally butting heads? Well, get this, OpenAI is basically telling the court that their lawsuit against Elon should totally stay in the picture because his attempt to get rid of it has, like, zero basis in reality. It's all spelled out in some court papers they filed late Wednesday.
So, OpenAI is saying that their countersuit, which is all about Elon doing some shady business stuff in California, should be dealt with right away, not put on hold. They're even saying that huge offer Elon's group made earlier this year, like 97.4 billion dollars, was just a fake offer to get people talking. Seriously, they think that offer was leaked to the media even before OpenAI's own board even saw it!
Remember last year when Elon, who actually helped start OpenAI way back in 2015 before it got super big, sued OpenAI and its main guy Sam Altman? He was all upset because they switched to being a for-profit company. He basically said OpenAI forgot its original goal, which was to make AI for everyone's benefit, not just to make money. Then, in April, OpenAI sued Elon back, saying he's been harassing them and asking a judge to stop him from doing anything else unfair to OpenAI.
Elon had asked a judge to just toss out or delay OpenAI's side of the story until later. Even though OpenAI recently changed things up a bit and decided to keep their non-profit side in control, Elon's lawyer said he's still going ahead with his lawsuit. It's a whole big mess, isn't it?
