Skyworks Gets New Interim Finance Boss

Skyworks Gets New Interim Finance Boss

Hey, so guess what's going on over at Skyworks Solutions? You know, the company that makes chips, like for Apple stuff. Well, their new finance boss, Mark Dentinger, that they just announced he'd be joining didn't actually start the job. Turns out he has some health issues, so he's not coming aboard like they planned.

So now Skyworks is on the hunt for a permanent finance chief. In the meantime, they've put Robert Schriesheim in charge as the temporary finance guy. He's been on their board for a long time, since way back in 2006. Plus, he knows a lot about different tech industries, like software, communications, and chips. He's got some good experience there.

Oh, and earlier this month, Skyworks actually had some good news! They said they expect to make more money and profit in the next few months than what those Wall Street experts thought. This kind of shows that even with all the trade stuff going on, people still want their analog chips. They think they'll make between $920 million and $960 million in the next quarter. Most analysts thought it would be less, like around $922 million. And for profit, they're looking at about $1.24 for each share, which is also higher than the $1.06 analysts predicted. Pretty interesting, huh?
