Skyworks Gets New Interim Finance Chief

Skyworks Gets New Interim Finance Chief

Hey, so there's some interesting news about Skyworks Solutions, you know, the chipmaker? They just named Robert Schriesheim as their temporary finance boss. This happened because the guy they were planning to bring in, Mark Dentinger, isn't joining after all.

Apparently, Mark Dentinger was supposed to start as the new chief financial officer on June 2nd, but he can't because of a health issue. That's a bummer, right? So, Skyworks is now looking for someone else to take on the CFO role for good.

This Robert Schriesheim guy has been on the Skyworks board since way back in 2006. He's got experience in a bunch of different areas, like software, communications, and semiconductors.

This comes after Skyworks actually made a pretty good forecast for their third quarter earnings earlier this month. They think their revenue and profit will be better than what the Wall Street folks were expecting. It seems like folks are still buying their analog chips even with all the trade stuff going on.

They're predicting third-quarter revenue to be somewhere between $920 million and $960 million. The middle of that range is higher than the $922 million analysts predicted. And for adjusted profit, they're seeing $1.24 per share, which is also better than the analysts' guess of $1.06 per share. Pretty neat, huh? Idk, what do you think about how this might affect things?
