Skyworks Gets New Interim Finance Chief as Expected Hire Backs Out

Hey everyone, lemme tell you some news about Skyworks Solutions, you know, the chip company. So, their chief finance guy who was supposed to start, Mark Dentinger, isn't actually joining them anymore. Bummer, right? They said it's because of a medical thing, which totally stinks. So now, they've got this guy, Robert Schriesheim, stepping in as the temporary finance chief. He's been on their board for a while, since 2006, so he knows the ropes. He's got experience in all sorts of tech stuff too, like software and chips and all that jazz.

Funny thing is, just earlier this month, Skyworks was feeling pretty good about things. They actually said they expect to make more money and profit in the next few months than the money experts thought they would. Even with all the trade stuff going on, people are still wanting their chips, which is pretty cool. They're looking at making somewhere between 920 million and 960 million bucks in the next quarter. That's more than the 922 million the analysts predicted. And for profit, they think they'll make about 1 dollar and 24 cents per share. Again, that's higher than the 1 dollar and 6 cents the analysts thought. So, even with this finance chief hiccup, things seem to be looking up for them. Idk, pretty interesting, huh?
