Skyworks Gets New Interim Finance Head

Skyworks Gets New Interim Finance Head

Hey everyone, so there's a bit of news over at Skyworks Solutions, you know, the chipmaker? They just announced that Robert Schriesheim is stepping in as the temporary finance boss. This happened cause Mark Dentinger, who they said would be the new CFO, actually isn't joining after all.

Apparently, Mark can't come on board because of a medical thing. This was supposed to happen pretty soon, like on June 2nd. So now, Skyworks is already looking for someone to fill that finance chief spot for good.

Robert Schriesheim seems like he knows his stuff though. He's been on the board at Skyworks for quite a while, since way back in 2006! He's got experience in different areas too, like software, communication stuff, and chips, of course.

Remember how they recently said their next quarter looked pretty good? Yeah, they were actually expecting to make more money and profit than what the analysts were guessing. This kinda shows people still want their chips, even with all the trade talk going on. They were looking at making around $920 million to $960 million, and the middle of that range is higher than the $922 million analysts thought. And for profit per share, they were thinking $1.24, which is more than the $1.06 the analysts predicted. Pretty cool, right?
