Skyworks Names Interim Finance Chief After Planned CFO Decision

Hey, so there's some news about Skyworks Solutions, you know, the chipmaker. They just named Robert Schriesheim as their temporary finance boss.

Turns out, the guy who was supposed to take over, Mark Dentinger, isn't joining like they planned. The company said it's because of a health thing, which is a bummer. So now Skyworks is looking for someone permanent for the job.

This Robert Schriesheim guy has been on the board at Skyworks for a while, since 2006 actually. He's got experience in different areas like software and chips, which is pretty cool.

Earlier this month, Skyworks actually gave a pretty good forecast for their next quarter. They think their sales and profit will be higher than what the experts on Wall Street expected. This kinda shows people are still buying their chips even with all the trade stuff going on.

They're guessing third-quarter sales will be between $920 million and $960 million. The middle of that range is higher than the $922 million the analysts thought. And they're expecting to make about $1.24 per share in profit, which is more than the $1.06 per share the analysts were predicting.

So yeah, interesting times for Skyworks! What do you think this means for them?
