Skyworks Solutions Gets Interim Finance Boss After New Hire Backs Out

Okay, so you know Skyworks Solutions, the chipmaker company? Well, they just made a change in their finance department. Their new finance boss, the one they announced before, named Mark Dentinger, isn't going to be taking the job anymore. Apparently, he has a medical thing going on, so that's why he can't join them.

So, for now, they've got someone already on their team stepping in. His name is Robert Schriesheim, and he's been on the Skyworks board for a long time, like since way back in 2006. He's got experience with software stuff and communication tech and also chips, among other things. So, he's going to be the interim finance chief while they look for someone permanent.

This news comes after they recently said they expect to do pretty well in their next quarter, like better than what the experts on Wall Street thought. They're seeing good demand for their chips even with all the trade stuff going on. They're thinking they'll make between $920 and $960 million in revenue for the quarter, which is more than the $922 million estimate. And for profit, they think they'll hit about $1.24 per share, which is also higher than the $1.06 estimate. So yeah, things are looking up Revenue and profit-wise for them, despite the unexpected change in the finance lead. Guess we'll see who they find for the permanent spot, huh?
