Skyworks Solutions Gets Interim Finance Chief After New Hire Drops Out

Hey so, there's been a bit of a change over at Skyworks Solutions, you know, the company that makes chips for Apple and stuff. Their new finance boss, Mark Dentinger, isn't gonna be joining up after all. Bummer, right?

Turns out he has a medical thing going on, so he can't start the job he was supposed to on June 2nd. So Skyworks is already looking for someone else for that permanent finance chief gig. In the meantime, they've got Robert Schriesheim stepping in as the interim guy. He's been on their board of directors since way back in 2006, and he knows his stuff when it comes to software, communications, and chips and all that.

This happened even though Skyworks had some pretty good news lately. Earlier this month, they actually said they expect to make more money and profit in the next few months than what everyone on Wall Street thought. That kinda shows that people still want their analog chips, which is cool especially with all the trade drama happening.

They're thinking they'll bring in somewhere between $920 million and $960 million in the next quarter. The middle number there is even higher than what the analysts predicted, which was $922 million. And for profit, they're looking at about $1.24 per share, which is also better than the $1.06 analysts were guessing. So, while there's a little hiccup with the finance boss, their business seems to be doing okay.
