Skyworks Solutions Gets Temporary Finance Chief

Skyworks Solutions Gets Temporary Finance Chief

Okay, so check this out. Skyworks Solutions, they make those chips you find in stuff, right? Well, they just announced who's gonna be their temporary money guy, you know, the finance chief. His name is Robert Schriesheim.

This happened because the person they said was gonna take the job, Mark Dentinger, isn't joining after all. They said it's because of a medical thing. That was supposed to happen on June 2nd, but, nope. So now Skyworks is looking for someone permanent for that job.

Robert Schriesheim has been on their board for a long time, since way back in 2006. He's got experience in different tech areas, like software and chips. Pretty good background, I guess.

Also, remember how earlier this month Skyworks predicted they'd do better than what the Wall Street folks thought for this next quarter? Yeah, they still see demand for their chips being pretty strong, even with all the trade stuff going on. They're predicting sales somewhere between $920 million and $960 million. That middle number is actually higher than what analysts were expecting, which was like $922 million.

Oh, and for their profit per share, they're looking at around $1.24. Again, that's more than the $1.06 analysts were guessing. Seems like they're feeling pretty good about things, tbh.
