Someone Impersonated White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles

Get this, the feds are looking into some wild stuff where someone was pretending to be Susie Wiles, you know, the White House Chief of Staff. Like, the Wall Street Journal said that people who know what's going on told them about it.
Apparently, Susie told her pals that her personal phone contacts got hacked. So, this fake person somehow got ahold of private phone numbers. This whole mess was on her personal phone, not her government one, which is kinda interesting, right?
So, over the last few weeks, people like senators, governors, big shot business folks, you name it, were getting calls and messages from someone claiming to be Susie, according to those same folks who are in the know. The White House and the FBI didn't say anything when asked, at least not right away.
The White House has had some issues with keeping info safe lately, too. Remember that hacker who messed with the app Trump's old national security advisor, Mike Waltz, used? Reuters said they snagged messages from a bunch of American officials. And late last year, a White House guy even said the U.S. thought China's 'Salt Typhoon' cyber spies were listening in on important phone calls from really senior American politicians. Pretty wild, huh?
Since Susie's a super important person for Trump, and kinda the glue holding the White House together, anything on her personal phone would be gold for foreign spies and other bad guys. They've apparently tried to hack Susie before, actually. That was towards the end of Trump's 2024 campaign. Back then, hackers that the U.S. says were working for Iran reached out to reporters and a political operative with messages they supposedly got from Susie's phone. Some of those even got published.
