Someone's Pretending to Be White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles

So, get this, federal folks in the U.S. are looking into someone pretending to be Susie Wiles, who's like, the main person in charge at the White House. The Wall Street Journal spilled the beans on Thursday, saying they heard it from people who know what's up.
Apparently, Susie told some of her buddies that someone got into her cellphone contacts. This meant the imposter could get their hands on private phone numbers. Good thing it was her personal phone and not her work one, you know? The Journal also said that lately, senators, governors, big shot business people, and others have been getting texts and calls from someone saying they're Susie Wiles. Wild, right?
The White House and the FBI didn't say anything when folks asked them about it. Honestly, the White House has had a tough time with keeping info safe before. Remember that hacker who got into the messages of Mike Waltz, the old national security guy for Trump? That hacker snagged messages from tons of U.S. officials, according to Reuters just recently. And late last year, a White House person even said they thought some big Chinese cyber spy thing called Salt Typhoon was listening in on calls of really important American politicians.
Since Susie Wiles is super important to Trump and keeps the White House running, anything on her personal phone would be super interesting to spy agencies from other countries and other not-so-friendly folks. It sounds like hackers went after Susie before too, when Trump was running for president in 2024. At that time, hackers that the U.S. said were working for Iran apparently went to reporters and a political person with messages sent to and from Susie. Some of those even ended up being published. Idk, it's all a bit crazy, isn't it?
