White House Security Scare: Impersonator Targets Chief of Staff Susie Wiles

Okay, so get this U.S. folks in charge are looking into something pretty wild someone's been trying to pretend they are Susie Wiles, who's like, the head honcho at the White House.

Apparently, Susie told her pals that some of her phone numbers got snagged cause her cell was hacked. And guess what? This fake Susie person used those numbers to hit up a bunch of important people think senators, governors, big business guys, and others.

It was her personal phone, by the way, not the one she uses for work. The whole thing has been going on for a few weeks now. Pretty messed up, right?

The White House hasn't said anything about it yet. But the FBI is totally on it. The FBI director, Kash Patel, said they take any threats to the President, his team, and cybersecurity super seriously. Making sure everyone can talk securely is a big deal for them.

It's not the first time the White House has had info security problems, tbh. Remember that hacker who got into the app Mike Waltz, a guy who used to work for Trump, used? That hacker got messages from tons of U.S. officials. Also, late last year, a White House person said they think China tried to listen in on calls from really important American political figures.

Since Susie Wiles is a really key person for President Trump and keeps the White House running smoothly, anything on her personal phone would be super interesting to foreign spy agencies and other not-so-friendly folks. She's actually been targeted by hackers before, just during Trump's last campaign. Some hackers who U.S. authorities think were working for Iran even went to reporters and a political operative with messages they said were from Susie's phone, and some of that stuff even got out there.
